International High School

*Course time：Monday to Friday 08:10~17:00

*Course Materials：For academic English, we use diverse and interesting learning materials from Cambridge University Press. Our course materials can inspire students to learn English while improving their English skills.

For English subject courses, we use learning materials from Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press. Learning materials from Oxford and Cambridge University Press are developed by over 1,000 teachers, educators, and professors. The materials are designed to help students with different levels improve effectively.

*Teaching methods：We focus on teaching students discussion and team work skills. Our teaching methods will also  improve students' critical thinking skills and help students develop learner autonomy.

After students complete the international courses, they will not only obtain high school certificates and British international certificates, but also be expected to have better English skills than most Taiwanese college graduates with English majors, and meet the English entry requirements for well-known universities in the U.K., U.S, Canada and other countries.

學術英語採用英國劍橋大學出版社教材，多元主題、生動活潑，激發英語學習興趣並有效提升聽說讀寫能力；學科英語教材採用牛津大學與劍橋大學出版社教材，超過1,000名教師、主題專家和大學學者參與教材開發，龐大的專家團隊合作，確保教材有效、可靠，適合各種學生的能力，因此適合居住在英國境外的非母語人士。授課模式採互動討論式教學，提升學生思辯及獨立自主的學習模式。

學生在完成高中國際課程之後，可獲得高中同等文憑，英語能力能超越國內主修英語專業大學生的英語能力，達到歐、美名校及其他國家大學英語程度門檻。

IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is founded by the University of Cambridge, and is designed for students that are 14 to 16 years old. IGCSE is approved by most universities and companies around the world. Students will be learning and exploring different subjects during their first year of high school. After their first year of high school, they will be choosing 3 to 5 subjects to specialize in. 

A-Level (The General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) is from the British high school certificate system. Students will be issued certificates from the British Department of Education after they pass the exams. After students take IGCSE courses and explore different majors, they will choose 3 to 5 A level specialized courses. Students will be able to confirm their majors after they complete A-level courses and apply to U.K. and U.S. universities.

國際中學教育普通證書IGCSE（International General Certificate of Secondary Education）由英國劍橋大學創立，是針對14歲至16歲學生的國際普通中學教育認證，被全世界多數大學及企業主所承認。作為升讀國際課程之前的基礎課程，IGCSE國際高中課程在學制上相當於國內高一課程；學科採用擅長原則，學生在本階段探索學習多門學科，高二後選擇3~5門自身有興趣或擅長學科繼續學習，確認志向。

普通教育高級程度證書A-Level（The General Certificate of Education Advanced Level）是源於英國高中畢業證書的制度，通過考試取得由英國（不包括蘇格蘭）或英國海外屬地教育部頒發的的普通中等教育文憑，學科採用擅長原則，學生在IGSE階段探索多門學科後，A-Level階段選擇3~5門自身有興趣或擅長學科繼續學習，學制上相當於國內高二、高三課程，完成 A-Level 學業之後學生可以確認志向，申請就讀英、美大學。

高中畢業，直升世界名校

The British Secondary Education System certificate is approved by top universities worldwide. We work with British education departments closely to ensure that our courses are qualified and approved. Our IGCSE and A-level courses are evaluated by U.K.'s NARIC (National Recognition Information Centre). NARIC provides education background information and recommendations to worldwide organizations and schools. They have the same standards as the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (OFQUAL).

The British Secondary Education System provides high quality education, and the system can help students succeed during college. Parents and students do not need to worry about choices being limited because all worldwide education institutions accept the British Secondary Education System certificate. Furthermore, most European countries, Australia, New Zealand, United States, and Canada are all part of the Treaty of Lisbon. The Treaty of Lisbon ensures recognition of different country's higher education development, but more importantly, by having IGCSE 9-1 grades, we use the same grading system as the U.K.

Chang Jung's International Division arranges professional counselors and study abroad consultants to provide students with career guidance and counseling services. Apart from holding study abroad orientations and inviting representatives of overseas universities, we also provide 1 to 1 customize graduate counseling, and provide college application assistance to students.

英國牛津大學國際AQA考試院（Oxford International AQA Examinations）為牛津大學旗下的牛津大學出版社與英國的 GCSE 及 GCE A-Level 測驗單位AQA共同成立的學術測驗機構。

我們的國際資格是英國同等學歷的基準，專為居住在英國境外且不說英語的學生而設計，並使學生具備成功進入下一階段教育段所需的知識和技能。

英國中學教育系統可順利幫助學生進入下一階段的大學教育。學校和學生可以確信，世界各國包含歐洲國家、澳大利亞、紐西蘭、美國和加拿大都承認英國中學教育系統的學歷，國際學生的成績與在英國學習的學生完全相同，並符合世界各地的教育系統。
